After 18 months of permits, plans, meetings, construction, and much prayer, we are finally in the New Dining Hall and Kitchen at Bethel Ranch and serving meals. This year we celebrated our third Thanksgiving in the New Dining Hall. Hawthorne Gospel Church came to us again with a massive feast for the men and staff. Nearly fifty volunteers came and many more cooked before hand. Thank you again, Sheri Carlson and the Love-In-Deed Ministry volunteers.

The Youth Group from Green Pond Bible Chapel came and set up a 9 foot Christmas tree and other decorations in the Dining Hall. We want to thank the youth group for a job well done.

Also, thank you to the Hawthorne Christian Academy 10th grade who came again this year to help with several Christian Service projects like raking leaves and preparing Christmas bags for each of the men for Christmas. Many of the gifts were given by the St. Joseph’s Church in town, the Highcrest Women’s Club, the Mental Health Department, and Green Pond Bible Chapel.

We do not want to forget the folks that gave of their time to come to cook Dinner on Christmas Day. Our thanks go to Ryan Walsh, his mother, Karin Walsh, and the rest of their family and friends.

We want to thank The Living Word Church for a wonderful time of fellowship with their annual Christmas Service, refreshments and gifts for the men of Bethel Ranch. This is also a good time to thank the many Churches in the area for their faithful service each Sunday.
